Context: Broadway United Methodist Church in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a gifted Worship Leader. Bowling Green is a dynamic community in south central Kentucky, located 55 miles north of Nashville and home to Western Kentucky University. Education and Experience: Professional experience as worship leader in a large church setting.
Pastoral recommendations demonstrating history of strong leadership.
Experience teaming with pastor and others to accomplish creative weekly worship design.
Requirements and Skills: Strong vocal and guitar skills a must.
Strong worship leader that flows from an authentic relationship with Jesus
Proficiency in using Planning Center online and Pro Presenter preferred.
Ability to read music charts and arrangements for all instruments.
Ability to hear and teach vocal parts.
Ability to lead and develop teams and cultivate new talent.
Digital resume’ with video or audio examples of worship leading.
Responsibilities: Recruit, rehearse and lead a team of musicians and vocals each week for one Sunday morning worship service. Participate in weekly worship planning meetings and lead the process when called upon.
