Worshiping Arts Pastor/Director

Community Church of Hendersonville, an interdenominational fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ, is seeking a full-time Pastor/Leader of our Worshiping Arts Department.  This full-time salaried position would be part of our church pastoral staff and would include other staff management responsibility.  Formal training with at least five (5) years experience in worship, leadership, and/or creative arts ministry is essential. Candidates should have a proven record of strong leadership combined with organization skills as well as a desire to move people to connect with God through creative worship.

Candidate should:

• Demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Be energetic, dynamic and highly motivated
• Be equipped to communicate Biblical understanding through worship in all its potential elements
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Demonstrate ability to work with a team, either an internal staff team and/or ministry leadership team
• Possess proven production skills –or—worship leadership skills –or—leadership of special programs
• Possess musical skills – in vocals, instrumentals and/or group leadership
• Demonstrate ability and passion to recruit, equip, connect and utilize volunteers
