Job Description:

We are searching for a operations manager for our client, New Latitude in the Cincinnati, OH area.

 

He or she will lead the charge in managing and overseeing the operations of the business. The operations manager will lead the staff, manage the schedule, and oversee the daily operations. He or she will need to love and enjoy a fast paced work environment. 

 

Industry: Moving/ Transportation/ Logistics

The Company was started in 1997 as a local antique transfer service company in Birmingham Alabama. They were, and remain, involved with all aspects of the antique transportation realm for their clients, including, receiving and unloading shipments from Europe, storage, in-house transfer, delivery, and final placement.

 

After gaining a reputation as the premier transfer service for Birmingham's finest antique dealers, it was not long before larger furniture retailers requested the same personal touch when delivering their products to clients homes.

 

They are growing and moving to the Cincinnati market due to new client demands.

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Be in contact with major accounts in the area  
  • Managing schedule for team
  • Oversee loading of trucks (will have to load in many cases as well)
  • Manage the rental of trucks, gas cards, hotels, etc. (all things operations)
  • Have to be able to determine what is the most important things to do and attack those things 
  • Work with the scheduler throughout the day to get paperwork, loads in
  • Manage inventory in warehouse and trucks 

 

Skills/Experience Needed: 

 

  • College Education
  • Business and operations minded 
  • Hard worker
  • Great interpersonal skills 
  • Enjoy doing a lot of different things

Training: 6-8 weeks training in St Louis, MO

 

Benefits: 

  • Company Cell Phone
  • 50/50 Split on Health and Dental Insurance
  • 2 Weeks Paid Vacation

 

Pay:

  • Year 1-2: $40,000-$50,000
  • Year 3-5: $60,000-$70,000

 

Schedule:

  • 7am-5pm( Monday through Friday) 
  • On call Saturday but not expected to be in the office
