Bible League International is seeking candidates for a Partner Relations Representative for our Crete, Illinois office. Bible League comes alongside local churches and ministries to equip them for Bible-based evangelistic outreach, discipleship, and church
planting. Bible League helps to grow God's Kingdom across the globe through Bible translation, Bible-based literacy, Bible learning programs, and building the Church.
Position Summary
The Partner Relations Representative will be responsible and accountable for meeting the daily and monthly needs of the organization for gift processing, donor service, fulfillment, and data entry. Ensure deposits are made daily, months are closed within
a day, and fiscal year and calendar year are managed to meet all department’s requirements. Ensure timely fulfillment of all receipts, program materials, and donor inquiries.
Essential Duties
- Process a variety of donor gifts (churches, fundable projects, etc.), perform data entry, including white mail, using donor database and check scanning system. Scan payments to bookstore and post bookstore donations, the public donation box, memorials,
honorariums, and special events. These types of gifts will also require manual batch processing at times.
- Provide ongoing telephone communication with donors and customers as needed and follow up work. Answer partners and customers inquires via phone, email, and mail. Additionally, assist with answering questions and prayer requests.
- Retrieve gifts generated from the customized database on a daily basis. To include maintain accurate information in the database to sync with DASCO (donor software) database.
- Charge credit card donations using the DASCO database, which entails, a daily credit card, web-generated, and recurring transaction batches.
- Prepare batch processing of daily credit card gifts. Balance, close and handle the end of day process.
- Handle daily closing of payment process, which includes preparing, downloading and balancing batches into the donor database.
- Process gifts from and follow-up for the major & middle donor teams. Handling of return mail, including organizing the mail and training volunteers.
- Handle all money adjustments on donor accounts received from finance department (i.e. NSF checks, order refunds, deductions, etc.). Run the monthly EFT process.
Qualifications
- Must be a Christian, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must also agree with our statement of faith and conduct his/herself in a Christ-like manner.
- Must be accurate and efficient at data entry and typing. Must have basic understanding of math.
- Must understand basics of computers with a strong aptitude to learning more, as required by duties.
- Ability to work as a team with capacity to work with great effectiveness with other team members.
- Possess communication, listening and presentations skills, understanding that we are a Godly organization, where prayer is part of our partners’ relationship.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet).
- Provide timely service to all customers and resolve customer complaints to preserve the brand image of Bible League International.
- Provide donor services via regular phone contact along with electronic and e-mail communication to our partners.
- Must have excellent communication skills to engage the partner and customer to be able to portray the mission of Bible League.
- Must be trustworthy and able to handle all work in a confidential manner.
