Worship Leader

 Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (ORLC) has a long-standing presence in the Greater Solon community since 1958. It follows the doctrine of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. With great traditions of music over the years, today ORLC is looking to begin new traditions with a fresh format for its 10:30 am Sunday service on a regular basis. ORLC seeks a vibrant and skilled music worship leader for this opportunity to be a part of the team that develops this service. The Worship Leader will be a key component of setting the tone for this worship experience with the goal of growing and reaching a younger, more diverse community of believers through the love of Christ and music.

 ORLC's Worship Leader's poisition is PT, 8-12 hours/wk - varies depending on holidays and special events. This position reports to the Music Director. It is a salaried position starting at $13,000 annually with 2 weeks paid time off awarded after the first six months. 

Quarlifications are:  demonstrates a lifestyle committed to Christ, praying and studying God's Word regularly in their personal life; a heart to lead people in worship and not just lead a worship service; Bachelor of Music Degree or equivelant; skilled in and demonstrated high quality vocal and instrumental (primary guitar) capabilities; 2-3 years experience (preferred by not required) in working with volunteer musicians, teaching and leading; good relational skills and poistive attitude; organized and prepared.
