Worship/Ministry Pastor

We are looking for the individual of the Lord's choosing that is filled with the Holy Spirit to lead the church in its worship and following of our Lord Jesus Christ. This position includes leading worship regularly on Sunday mornings, creating intentional worship services, and overseeing the development of all aspects of the worship ministry, and the leadership team. Guiding the overall vision, system and processes for the church's future and growth. And is competent to teach and shepard the ministry, and can effectively engage the congregation in worship.

*First and foremost, lead by example and be a model of a worshiper who delights in the Lord and enters his presence with both humility and bold confidence through Christ.

*Is filled with the Holy Spirit of God and grounded in the Word of God - a worshiper in Spirit and Truth.

*Be a strong, gifted worship leader who draws people into the worship of the Lord.

*Be a hard worker, committed to the excellence personally and in others, and devoted to sheparding the church body.

*Desire to develop and oversee all the aspects of the Worship Ministry through pastorial and organizational leadership.

*Personally foster a mutually edifying relationship with the church body.

*Be committed to the Lord and Saviour and VCC and in its people.

*Has experienced the call to worship ministry; who has the heart and soul of a pastor and is spiritually and emotionally mature.

*Is a strong communicator who can bring leadership to all ages and areas of worship, that exudes a Godly character through a biblical approach to ministry; and is eagerly learning and growing.

*Is earnest in the desire and willingness to visit the sick, in homes or hospitals, and visit with those that are suffering and need/want prayer.
